The addition of the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 to the statute book (including the employer`s responsibility to make provision for consultation) confirms that employees are entitled to select at least one individual as a Safety Representative to make representation to management with regard to Health and Safety in the workplace.


This 1 Day programme is designed to refresher the candidates of their role and function as Safety Representative. Safety Representatives play a very important part in the consultation process of health and safety in any workplace.

Who should attend?
Appointed Safety Representatives who have responsibility for fostering proactive communication between management and employees on health and safety issues

On completion of this course participants will be refreshed on the following:

Assessment /Certificate

Nifast Certificate of Attendance

English is the language in which training is delivered and participants must have a good command of the English language. If participants wish to bring an interpreter they may do so but prior notice must be given to Nifast.
